Jesus’ Words for Trying Times

Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43

“Do not let your hearts be troubled,” said Jesus.

But when we take a look at the world around us and all that is going on – not to mention our own problems – it feels like we can’t help but be troubled. We worry for the future. We feel burdened by the evil in the world. We wonder if we’ve taken the wrong path. So what would Jesus really say to my troubled heart if he were sitting before me, face to face?
